No one better!!

I was interested in purchasing a Buick Encore and went to VanDevere Buick to see what was available. There was not a vehicle on their lot that was exactly what I was looking for, and being a discerning woman I wanted only the model I had researched - the Encore GX Preferred in Ebony Twilight Metallic along with all of the available highlights. Sales Manager Rocky Dorsey and Sales Consultant Randy Browne diligently searched for days until they found exactly what I was looking for. On top of the car itself, I have a great warranty and car washes for life - compliments of VanDevere! Randy took me around to each of the Managers and Advisors I would be working with for service needs. In addition, he gave me instructions on every single one of the mechanics for operating my beautiful new car and has kept in touch with me to be sure all is going well! Finance Manager Nico Curtis provided me with additions I could purchase to go with my new Encore. And Service Advisor Jeanette Stefanka spoke with me about proper maintenance. I am very happy with my new Encore and plan to keep it for as long as I can. I have also owned a Rendezvous and a Vibe I purchased from and serviced at VanDevere for many years. had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Ellery at Vandevere Kia/Buick. Vandevere’s motto has always been to treat people like family—and for the first time, I truly felt that. I came in under special circumstances, unsure if I’d even be able to leave with a new car, but I never once felt pressured. I felt supported, respected, and heard every step of the way. Ellery was incredibly personable, kind, and upfront throughout the entire process. Nothing felt hidden or sketchy—something I genuinely appreciated. Rocky, the sales manager, was also fantastic: respectful, transparent, and willing to step in when I needed someone to listen. To be completely honest, I’ve had multiple poor experiences with Preston at Vandevere Kia, and I came in on 7/23 feeling completely stuck with a car I didn’t want, facing issues I shouldn’t have been dealing with, and dreading the thought of having to work with him again. I asked to speak with a service manager—something I had done during a previous visit with no follow-up at all. This time, Rocky stepped in immediately, advocated for me, and made sure I was connected with the right people. That’s when I met Kyle, the service manager, who was equally exceptional. He was respectful, honest, and clearly committed to helping make things right. From now on, Ellery, Rocky, and Kyle are the people I will be working with—and recommending. Denise in finance was also amazing—thorough, friendly, and never pushy. She took the time to go over every detail with me and even looked into some lingering issues related to my previous car and warranty. She was informative and supportive, and I really appreciated her kindness and clarity. And let me give a special shoutout to Nette in Buick service—what an absolute gem. Did you know you can come in between oil changes to get your fluids topped off, and it’s included in your service plan? I had no idea until Nette told me! She looked out for me from the moment I met her, and it made such a difference. I’ll be honest: I will never buy a Kia again. There’s currently a class action lawsuit involving Kia engines, so be careful out there. I’m now a proud Buick owner again, and I’m truly grateful for the team who helped “right the wrongs” I experienced before. They didn’t just make a sale—they helped restore my trust. To be clear, not all of my Kia service experiences over the past three years were bad, but nearly everything in the first half of 2025 was incredibly frustrating and disheartening. It caused a lot of stress, anxiety, wasted time, and unnecessary costs. Because of the 5-star experience I had on 7/23/25, I’m giving this review 4 stars overall—taking all of my experiences into account. The last time I left a review, I truly felt like it deserved zero stars. I’m grateful to say this time was different—and that’s because of Ellery, Rocky, Kyle, Denise, and Nette. Thank you all for taking the time to do things right.

Service rep was courteous and knowledgeable. I received my video of the underside of my car. I didn't however have my print out of my alignment stapled to my invoice like usual. Didn't notice until I was home.

It routinely takes a very long time to check in and drop off my vehicle. From the time I was greeted by my associate, it took 18 minutes until the check in was complete. This was for an oil change. My associate was very kind and helpful.

Just had my 2017 Encore in for extended warranty covered service. The Service rep Nette. with an assist from Jerry performed quite well. They handled the required contacts with the warranty provider and got the necessary authorization. Then the mechanical work began. I would also like to thank the mechanic who performed the repairs.

Van Devere Buick as always had friendly and courteous service.

From the start to the end we were treated well and the service was quick. Only thing is that there was no coffee and I need my coffee in the early morning or I am a monster.

We were made to feel very welcome. Cal was very respectful and thorough. Michael Brown in finance was very nice and informative.

Technician discovered issues which were causing symptoms our daughter described were a problem with her vehicle. They were pricey but repairs took care of problems with her vehicle. You may share this feedback.

I don't know why you have scheduled appointments to take two and a half hours to change oil!!

Every time I see one particular service Advisor he tells me I have leaks then Incan go back to another service person and they say I have no leaks despite no repairs. This time I’m told of multiple leaks with no evidence in my driveway of leaks

Good customer service, only complaint I have is that I waited 15-20 mins and then I got out of the car and went to the desk and was almost late to another another appointment. Just wanted to drop off my car and it took over 30 minutes to be done with the drop off but other than that everything was great.

Ellerey was great!! From the moment we walked in he made us feel comfortable and not pressured at all. He has a great personality and so easy going and professional. He kept me informed through the entire process and walked me through the decision process and options.

They told me what they were going to do, then they did what they said. No issues, thorough, prompt.

Service was good but a I have to go back today 11/7 because of a notification that I needed service so something was not done correctly.

I don't like the 3% charge when using a credit card.

We had the intelliHaul camera system installed on our GMC 1500, they did an excellent job on both the truck and trailer, the work was done on time and very professional install, all wires and cables are tucked away like it came from the factory that way!

Made a 10 am appointment for an oil change. When I got there my advisor still said an hour. I was there for 2 hours for a simple oil change. When I asked what took so long he said they was backed up. How can they get backed up and I was told an hour when I got there. I missed my personal trainer appointment and still had to pay for it cause it was a package. If I had know from the start it was going to be over an hour I could of made arrangements to get to my appointment.

Justin explained to me the service that was being done and what I needed later. Overall he was pleasant to talk to.

Two and an half hours for a oli change is not good

OK I suggested a bench or sit at the check in desk last survey. No bench. Waiting in line hurts me to stand any length in time. I mean really a lot of customers are older, give us a break.

Overall it was great, only small issue is over 2 hour wait for an oil change seems a bit long but the waiting area is very nice !

Everything was done very efficiently. They did not wash my car, but perhaps that was not possible on the day of my appt.

I did not get an invoice after my service was finish and my inspection of my car was not discussed with me after my oil change. I had to ask for it the next day.

I was having an oil change done and when inspecting my car they found a broken sway bar or something. Luckily for me I have the extended warranty so I only paid $50 for the repair work. And as always I was treated very well and was updated on the progress of my repair often which was so great.
