At VanDevere Buick, we are proud to support local organizations and give back to the Akron community. This year, we had the privilege of partnering once again with the Akron Rotary Camp for their annual fundraiser. The grand prize, a brand-new Buick Envista, was won by David O’Neal, who purchased raffle tickets to support the camp. His ticket was drawn at the Akron Chili Open event, an annual event that brings together the community to raise funds for a great cause.
A Long-Standing Partnership with Akron Rotary Camp
VanDevere Buick has proudly partnered with the Akron Rotary Camp for 13 years, contributing to their mission of providing life-changing experiences for children and adults with disabilities. This year’s Buick Envista raffle is just one example of how VanDevere and other local businesses have come together to support the camp. The photo of the check below shows the total amount raised this year, with VanDevere’s generous car donation being a significant part of the funds.
Supporting the Akron Community and Beyond
The funds raised through the raffle, along with contributions from many local businesses and organizations, will go directly toward supporting Akron Rotary Camp’s programs and services. The camp’s programs offer outdoor experiences, educational activities, and community-building opportunities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring they have access to a fulfilling and inclusive environment.
